WinterFest at Palmer Park celebrates Holidays & Diversity

People for Palmer Park (PFPP) celebrates Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas and the Winter Season at its free family-friendly WinterFest on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 1-4 pm in and around the historic Palmer Log Cabin. Bundle up and share the holiday spirit in beautiful Palmer Park! Outside, enjoy horse and carriage rides. Warm up by the firepits and with freshly baked cookies and piping hot cocoa. Santa and Mrs. Claus will welcome you in the Cabin, which will be festively decorated with holiday spirit and aglow with beautiful period-similar chandeliers, restored woodwork and Victorian pocket doors, shimmering stained glass windows and some treasured surprises. Learn more about the history of the Palmer Park and the Log Cabin Since 2011, People for Palmer Park, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been presenting free community celebrations to engage and connect neighbors and park users to encourage healthy living, love of nature and the environment, and to develop friendships and grow bonds between people of diverse backgrounds, ages, races, ethnicities, abilities, and identities. As a regional park, we strive to find harmony between urban and suburban visitors, and encourage volunteerism and participation to improve the park and quality of life for all.
